Lots & the Lunar Nodes
The Arabic Parts (lots) that Hellenistic astrologers calculated from the chart, and the lunar nodes that mark where the Moon crosses the ecliptic.
Astrology uses more than planets. Hellenistic and medieval astrologers calculated lots, also called Arabic Parts, which are points in the chart found by adding and subtracting three positions. Lunar nodes, the points where the Moon's path crosses the ecliptic, give a further layer of meaning. Both appear in modern charts and in the electional work described in Electional Astrology.
