The chaos magician's idea of moving between beliefs, and how to use that flexibility without losing your judgement.
Chaos magic is pragmatic. It asks what works, and it assumes that belief is a tool rather than a fixed truth. One of its central techniques is paradigm shifting: deliberately stepping into a belief system, such as the Golden Dawn's cosmology, a folk tradition's spirits or a sceptic's purely psychological view, in order to get a result, and then stepping out again.
