Servitors
Designing, launching and retiring a purpose-built thought-form.
A servitor is a deliberately created entity — a thought-form — given one job to do. The idea predates chaos magic: Dion Fortune, in Psychic Self-Defence (1930), describes thought-forms built by concentrated emotion and imagination, and warns how one of her own escaped her control until she reabsorbed it. Chaos magicians turned this into a structured technique.
How you understand a servitor is up to you. On the spirit model it is a small being. On the psychological model it is an automated intention: a symbol that keeps a goal working in your unconscious, like a habit with a face. Both views lead to the same practical method.
