The Grand Tableau

The Lenormand's full spread of thirty-six — the Game of Hope behind the deck, the two layouts, the significators, near and far, the houses and the lines of sight — read step by step.

The Grand Tableau lays out the whole Lenormand deck, all thirty-six cards, in four long rows. Nothing is held back, so the reading is not about which cards came but about where they lie: what is near the querent and what is far, what sits above them and what below, what the Ship stands beside and what falls in the Ship's house. It is the Lenormand's great spread, and the one the deck was made for.
