Judging a Geomantic Chart

Beyond the Judge — the house chart, the four modes of perfection, the company of houses, the Way of the Point, the Part of Fortune, and when the old geomancers refused to judge at all.

A shield gives you a Judge, and for a yes-or-no question the Judge is often enough. But the Renaissance geomancers — Cattan in the 1550s, Agrippa's Fourth Book, Fludd a century on — read the same sixteen figures in a second frame, the house chart, and asked a sharper question: not "is the Judge good?" but "do the querent and the matter come together?" This lesson is that art, as the Geomancy tool practises it.
