QABALAH · LESSON 3 OF 8 · 14 MIN

Sefer Yetzirah, the Book of Formation, is the oldest book of Jewish esoteric speculation — only a few pages long, and composed sometime between the 3rd and 6th centuries CE. Tradition ascribes it to the patriarch Abraham. Its teaching is startling: the world was made from numbers and letters.
