♫Soundscapes

A mixer of sounds made fresh in the browser — rain, sea, wind, hearth, stream, night, a drone plucked like a tanpura, singing bowls and wind chimes — with soundscapes ready for meditation, ritual, scrying, study and sleep. Turn each layer's dial, tune the drone, bowls and chimes to the planet of the hour or any planet's tone in the cosmic octave, set a sleep timer that fades and a bowl to strike every few minutes, and keep your own mixes. Hear the planets sing their intervals as Kepler worked them out in 1619. What you start here keeps playing as you move between the tools, with a small player in the corner, and every tool has a ♫ by its title that starts the soundscape suited to it. Thunder rolls after its flash, near or far, and birds sing in the trees — a fluting song, a trill, a two-note call — and may follow the Sun where you are, the dawn chorus strongest round sunrise and the crickets keeping the dark. A sitting can be set in stages, each soundscape for its minutes with a bowl at each change.
