Reading the Court Cards
The sixteen cards readers find hardest — their names in Marseille, Waite and the Golden Dawn, the Name of four letters behind the ranks, the elements within the elements, the zodiac they rule, and three ways to read a court card when it falls.
Ask readers which cards they dread and most will say the court cards: the sixteen kings, queens, knights and pages that are neither the great images of the trumps nor the small scenes of the pips. Is the Queen of Swords a person, a mood, or me? This lesson gives the court its structure and three honest ways to read it; the Tarot tool's Learn the cards has a pool for the courts alone.
