The Goetia — The 72 Spirits of Solomon
The most notorious grimoire — its legend, ranks and seals, what the spirits were said to do, how the operation was structured, and how to approach it today.
No grimoire has a darker reputation than the Goetia. Its 72 spirits fill horror films, video games and heavy-metal album covers. The real book is more interesting than its reputation: a manual of spirit command written in a deeply religious frame, where everything depends on divine names, prayer and protection. This lesson explains what it contains and why it was written that way. It does not give the conjurations themselves — they are freely available in the 1904 edition — and Occultum strongly recommends finishing Discernment & Protection before attempting any practical spirit work at all.
