☼Today

Your daily almanac, for today or any day you choose from a strip of the days around it: the planetary day and its 24 hours, what the sky does with a wheel of the planets and the Moon as a disc, the best hours left for each kind of magic, a practice and journal prompt for the day's planet, your personal day number, and a card, rune, herb and stone of the day. Your day so far shows which kinds of practice you have done and your streak; set an intention and review the day; and see the lunations, planetary turns and festivals of the next six weeks. The same moment is shown in the Hindu almanac: the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana, with Rāhu Kāla. The day is also drawn as a clock: night and the three twilights shaded for your place, the planetary hours round the rim, an arc while the Moon is up, and a hand for now — touch the dial, or drag round it, to look at any moment, and the sky wheel below follows. Tap an hour, or step along the strip with the arrow keys, to see how every kind of magic fares in it, your own kinds first, and plan a ritual for that hour. The card, rune, herb and stone of the day wait face down until you turn them; the hour now fills a ring as it passes; a jump bar keeps the sections a tap away; and the day can be read aloud.
