Gabriel, who brought the Qur'an down to Muhammad.
Qur'an 2:97–98
A searchable guide to the angels of scripture, the grimoires and the churches. The 72 angels of the Shem ha-Mephorash, drawn letter by letter from Exodus, on a wheel of the zodiac with the angel ruling now, and some 250 more from Enoch, Agrippa, the Heptameron, Trithemius, the Golden Dawn, the Orthodox, Coptic and Ethiopian churches and Islam, each with its own page and its other spellings. See the angels ruling the day, the hour and the Moon now; the archangels of the quarters with their stories and paintings; the seven before the throne in each tradition; the angels of the days, signs, mansions, seasons, winds and elements; and the nine choirs turning as Dante saw them. Each of the seventy-two binds a spirit of the Goetia, one link away in the Demons tool. Step the angels ruling now through the hours and days, or back to your birth; trace an angel's name, or your own, petal by petal on the Golden Dawn's rose to make its sigil; and put the nine choirs in order, then see whether you have Dionysius', Gregory the Great's or the order Dante gave up for the Paradiso.

The angel of each day comes from the Heptameron; the intelligence (guiding power) and spirit (raw force) of each planet from Agrippa. See Angels of the Days, Hours & Signs.

Agrippa and the Golden Dawn put the archangels at different points of the compass.
Outer ring: Agrippa's four princes of the angels over the winds and the four parts of the world, Michael in the east, Raphael in the west, Gabriel in the north and Nariel, “who by some is called Uriel”, in the south. Inner ring: the Golden Dawn's Lesser Banishing Ritual, which sets each archangel by its element instead: Raphael east for air, Michael south for fire, Gabriel west for water, Uriel north for earth.
AGRIPPA'S ANGELS OF THE ELEMENTS
